✔️ Location: The cabin is nestled in the beautiful Wears Valley area, offering easy access to local restaurants and shops in Wears Valley or Townsend. You can avoid the busier areas of Pigeon Forge while still being just a short drive away. It's the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway.
✔️Accessibility: This cabin is one of the most easily accessible in the area with a scenic view, avoiding the steep mountain roads. It’s just a mile off Wears Valley Road! A large lap pool and a fishing pond are only a 5-minute drive away, with free access included during your stay.
✔️Proximity to Nature: Located on Wilderness Mountain, the cabin is just a mile off Wears Valley Road and only minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park entrance!
✔️Nearby Attractions: You’re just minutes away from the Metcalf Bottoms entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with easy access to Townsend and popular river tubing spots.
✔️Towels and Linens: Bath towels and linens for all beds are provided. Please bring your own towels for the pool, and do not use the cabin's towels for outdoor activities.

✔️Entertainment: The cabin's TVs are equipped with Wi-Fi and offer streaming apps like Netflix. Please bring your own logins for these services.
✔️Wi-Fi: The cabin features the fastest and most reliable Wi-Fi available in the area. Traditional providers like Comcast and Spectrum do not service this location. The Wi-Fi operates via a hotspot, which typically offers speeds up to 20 Mbps, though occasional outages may occur. Please note that we cannot guarantee Wi-Fi speed or reliability, and refunds will not be provided for service interruptions.

✔️Access: The cabin is about a mile from the main road (Wears Valley Rd), which is flat. However, the last quarter mile and the driveway are somewhat steep. While any car can manage the road, we recommend four-wheel drive in snow or icy conditions. The slightly steep drive is part of the tradeoff for enjoying the spectacular mountain view!

✔️Security Cameras: For our mutual safety, security cameras monitor the front and rear entrances.

"Laura was a great host, whenever I had questions she was very quick to answer. The house and location was beautiful, being able to sit out on the porch and watch the beautiful sunset every night. The only negative was that the water smelled like sulfur, but not too much can be done about that. Overall the house was BEAUTIFUL. wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We had a wonderful time in the mountains and the cabin was perfect for a multi family retreat! The kid’s bunk room with games and accommodations were conveniently located on the bottom floor to allow the kids to play and leave the grownups unbothered. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of comfortable spaces for hanging out. The hot tub was clean and well maintained and very much enjoyed. The East facing decks gave us beautiful views of the sunsets and the fog in the morning. Host was very responsive and kind with information of the space. Definitely will recommend for large groups."

"Well this place was absolutely beautiful and had so much to offer for the kids. Our family had 14 of us and it seemed to fit all of our needs. It was great that each bedroom had a bathroom and extra bathrooms in common areas. There was enough dining space for all of us to sit and eat despite our large group. The basement had plenty for the kids to keep occupied and entertained. The outdoor deck space was large with beautiful views. The driveway could fit three cars comfortably. This place was top notch in location, close to food, restaurants, shopping, but still far enough away to where you felt secluded and on a relaxing vacation. There were a few cosmetic things to fix potentially but Laura seems on top of things. Nothing that would change our review."

"Great place to vacation, The rental was as advertised. The cabin was loaded with amenities that were not 100% functional. All satellite boxes in rooms did not work. Jacuzzi tubs and stoppers were there but did not function properly. This is not a ding against this amazing cabin at all our visit was amazing. One item of caution the bears that are local to this cabin are not scared or intimidated by guests at all. We found ourselves walking from the cars with a bear or two in tow. Leave noting outside as you load up. The bears are quick and will chase you to the front door.. this is the experience of this great place. I will book again with Laura."

Yes, this property has a pool.
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and Check-out is at 10:00 AM.
The security deposit is between $175 to $500 depending on property size. It is a “hold” on your credit card taken 3 days before you check in and released within 3 days of checkout. When you finish booking, you will be taken to a page to complete a renter agreement and security deposit. The money never leaves your bank account. It’s a hold on your card, just like when you check into a hotel. In over 1,500 stays, we’ve only held 4 security deposits and those were for unauthorized pets, illegal drug use, smoking inside, and stolen items. It may show as a “pending” charge for up to 5 business days after checkout depending on your bank’s processing time.
This family-friendly Sevierville cabin is located in the mountains, 1.8 mi (2.9 km) from Next To Heaven, and within 6 mi (10 km) of River Rage Go-Kart Track and Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center. Walker Sisters Place and Great Smoky Mountains National Park are also within 6 mi (10 km).
YES! Absolutely. Just ask 🙂 We can help you with hike recommendations, restaurants, activities, in cabin massage, cabin decorating services or other special surprises.
If you’ve never been to the mountains before, the roads are going to feel different but you’ll adjust quickly! Most of our cabins are not far off the main roads and attraction areas. Any car can handle the roads. If there’s snow or ice (happens only 2-3 times per year here on average), then 4 wheel drive is recommended for a few of our cabins, and it’ll be mentioned on the listing.
Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. For Big Bear Lodge and Papa Bear Lodge, no refunds are given unless canceled 120 days or more before your checkin date.
Pets are not allowed at Big Bear Lodge, Creekside Retreat, and Papa Bear Lodge. Cabins that allow pets will say so on the listing and you must include the pet in your guest count, pay applicable pet fee, and register the pet with us (as we have to register with the HOA) prior to check-in.
You can’t go wrong with either! They are not far from each other. Gatlinburg has easier access to the hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Anakeesta, Ripley’s Aquarium and other popular attractions. Pigeon Forge has something for everyone – rides, mini golf, dinner shows, hiking, arcades, etc.
Knoxville Airport (TYS) is around 45 minutes away from our cabins.
